Kim & family I am so sorry about Grace. Our prayers are with you all during this difficult time. It breaks my heart that her Daddy will not be able to attend. She will be missed by many.
Betty Grace Turner Minton, 62, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her home.
She was a native of Granville County and was the daughter of the late Ellie M. Hockaday. Betty was a member of Brassfield Baptist Church and was a seamstress and did CNA work. While living in Florida she worked with individuals with special needs.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 25, 2017at Brassfield Baptist Church by Rev. Drew Grumbles.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Minton (Tom) of St. Petersburg. Florida, her father, Jack Lynwood Turner of Creedmoor, two sisters, Mary T. Russell (Ronald) of Stem, Sandra T. Bishop of Creedmoor, two brothers, Jackie W. Turner and Everett T. Turner, both of Creedmoor, six nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Turner Hassell.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the local SPCA, 5650 Cornwall Rd. Oxford, N.C. 27565 or to the Granville County Shriners, 706 Roxboro Rd.

Grace will be missed, she touched so many lives. She would make soap and give the kids at our church. My grandson just loves the soaps. May she Rest In Peace with our love & prayers to the rest of the family.

Thank you for all the great jokes, stories of Kim's childhood & for being like a grandmother to my kids & like another mother to me. Thank you for the wonderful memories we made on my first trip to Florida back over Christmas! Watch over us & ill make sure to look after Kim along with Tom.
